Announcement: 2024 Faculty Council Election
The ballot (click the link) for this year’s Faculty Council election is now available. It will be open to members of the Faculty until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Announcement: Change in Faculty Meeting Venues
The members of the Faculty Council have voted to hold the April 2 meeting of the Faculty and the May 20 degree meeting in person in the Faculty Room of University Hall instead of online via Zoom. The March 5 meeting of the Faculty will continue to be held online via Zoom, as planned. The May 7 meeting of the Faculty will continue to be held in person in the Faculty Room, as planned. An updated schedule of meetings can be found below.

The regular meetings of the Faculty are held on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The meetings on October 3, April 2, and May 7 will be held in the Faculty Room in University Hall. Tea will be served at 2:30 p.m. and the meetings will begin at 3:00 p.m. The rest of the meetings of the Faculty in 2023–2024 will be held online via Zoom. The degree meeting on May 20 will be held in the Faculty Room of University Hall from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
If a meeting time or location is to be changed, notice will be given by the Secretary of the Faculty.
Per the Rules of Faculty Procedure, “No class meeting, tutorial conference, examination, or other academic activity under the control of this Faculty and involving the presence of a voting member of this Faculty, and no meeting of any committee of this Faculty or of any of its subdivisions, shall be scheduled from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m., or any part of that period, on any of the days designated for regular Faculty meetings.”
